Rated 2 out of 5 by Leaky This installs easy . I put a brass spacer between two hoses for extra length. Being Handicapped this works best. The hose that came with the shower head leaks where the hose comes out of the plastic not at the threads. I even put shower head directly on this hose and it still leaks. Running 45miles to the store for a replacement can not be done at this time. very unhappy I purchased a name brand to avoid this type of problem. November 6, 2015

Connecting Hose to Shower Arm Mount (Step 2)(Pic included)

Q: In Step 2

Connect Hose to Shower Arm Mount

The Hose does not appear to attach to the shower arm mount properly meaning it does not screw all the way to the top?

There is about 1/2 inch of the threads showing.

Is this normal?

Should the Shower Arm Mount threads be visible like this?

Thank you very much.

Answer:
Hi ADG, Thank you for your question. It is normal for a small amount of the threads to show. If the connection is leaking make sure that you do not have too much thread seal tape on the shower arm to prevent a good tight seal.
Thanks,
Dave
