I hate this shower head. There is absolutely no pressure at all, it takes me twice as long to rinse off. Why is that?

Asked by: Jo Anne
Hello Jo Anne, Thank you for your question. The shower head of the Peerless Claymore Tub and Shower PTT188790 has a flow rate of 1.75 GPM at 80 PSI. Best regards, Tanya

How do I remove the handle?

I'm trying to disassemble the handle. I have taken off the cap to get to the screw, and unscrewed it, but the handle still won't come off. Is there something I'm missing?
Asked by: Callybean
Hi Callybean, Thank you for your question. Once the screw located under the button on the handle is removed there is nothing mechanically holding the handle in place. Often mineral build up can make the handle harder to remove. We recommend soaking a small towel in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water and wrapping the towel around the handle and screw opening. Allow the solution to soak in and help break up the mineral build up. This process should make it easier to pull the handle off of the faucet. Thanks, Dave

Does this have an optional white handle like lavatory faucet P299635?

Asked by: OldMan
Hi Oldman, Thank you for your question. The model 299635 is not a good number. If you are looking for the white porcelain handle it is not available for model PTT188790. Thanks, Dave

is there an adjustment to make the temperature hotter at the handle?

Asked by: bigo
Thank you for your question. Peerless Faucet model # PTT188790 contains a rotational limit stop that may need adjusting to allow more hot water to flow through the valve. Included here are the instructions for adjusting the limit stop. The directions are on page 5. http://www.peerlessfaucet.com/customer-support/find-repair-parts/documentation/ptt188790.html?document=mi&documentIndex=0#viewDocument
