Rated 3 out of 5 by Chad from Great looking faucet but has some issues When I bought my house I remodeled the entire kitchen and chose to go with this kitchen faucet. I love the look of it with its clean styling and lack of buttons make cleaning and breeze. The issues with it is the sprayer had a positive stop for the two different functions for only a couple months. The click to it positive position turned real soft, but it wasn't too bad. Now one year later you can't even feel where the positive stop would be. It's not an issue with any kind of hard water build up as I have a water softener and there is no signs of hard water build up. I dismantled the sprayer to find very tiny plastic pieces used for the positive stop, no surprise they were wore out and one of the three was broke off. Another small issue which is no-fault of the faucet or its manufacture, it is the other people who use it. In my case most people are use to the faucet having a slow normal stream and they do not expect it to be set in spray mode. So many times my roommates stick something under it and turn it on causing the sprayer to splash all over the place making a huge watery mess. With me this isn't an issue because I simply check to see if it's in spray mode or stream mode. My other roommate still has not learned to check before placing something underneath it and just turn it on. It would be much better if it automatically switch back to a stream when shutting it off. So just be aware of that if you have water spot O.C.D like I do.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Billybob from Peerless? I also purchased this faucet and it lasted for a little bit however I still had the sprayer break just like everyone else had. Seems like it not very well put together

Rated 2 out of 5 by Grace from Poor design, but love this faucet I had this faucet until I, too, had the spray head of the faucet break. The first time it broke, my husband was able to glue it, then I just didn't use the spray feature because I like this faucet and didn't want it to break again. Well, last week it broke again. This time the glue wouldn't hold it. I love the look and it's heavier than most out there to replace it with. It is a design flaw, can they make it with a button sprayer instead? I would like to replace the spray head if possible.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kurt Flock from Not so much I bought 18 of these to install in kitchens I was renovating in a small apt property. So far I've had two of the pull down faucet/spray heads break during normal use by tenants. In each case the plastic connector failed. It wasn't until researching my photo files that I found a picture of the boxes they came in, AFTER I replaced them with other brands. I couldn't locate my Menard's receipts. I don't know if repair parts are available or not. I kept the most recent one that failed hoping I could find a solution.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ang18 from Sprayer assembly broke under normal use Wish I would’ve seen the reviews before purchase. I too have had the sprayer assembly break off after a short time of use. The plastic design just doesn't hold up at all, very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Lobobonobo from Poor design, critical failure mode built into the nozzle head! Like the other reviewers, the nozzle fell off today due to the plastic insert inside the nozzle head itself! Poor design as this is the weak point which must be twisted in order to switch from spray to the normal aerator setting and back. In service for about a year and a half in a residential setting. By replacing the nozzle head assembly (plastic), this will only happen again in the future. I have included some pictures!

Is there an adapter available to accommodate a Portable Dishwasher?
I have a portable dishwasher that hooks up to my old Moen faucet. I would like to buy the above faucet for my new counter and sink. By removing the spray head it could accommodate my dishwasher if I had a part that would fit in it's place or an adapter for the part I currently use. From what I saw in the store, it would need pipe threads to fit the new faucet and machine threads to attach to the old fitting.
Having done so myself, I can say that there are not backpressure issues as suggested by the manufacturer. It is a 1/2" pipe thread. To convert that to a facet thread, you will have to go from the 1/2" to 3/4"GHT (Garden Hose). From there (1/2" Male to 3/4" GHT Female) I was able to go 3/4" GHT Male to 55/64" Female Inside 15/16" Male Outside, then using a 55/64" Male-Male Coupler to my 55/64" Female Inside 15/16" Male Outside Quick Attach Snap On Aerator that attaches to my portable dishwasher. You will want to screw it all together using wrenches and pliers to avoid drips. I have found that the Quick Attach adapter for my portable can come off the end and be put back on by hand easily so I can swap in my water filter whenever I want and that finger tight is enough to not get drips between that and the coupler.

Is it possible to change the stream/spray option so the default is spray?
Loving my new Peerless faucet so far, particularly the ability to switch - with the press of a button - the faucet head to a shower-type spray rather than the default single stream. Thing is, the spray is more convenient for almost all uses. Is it possible to change the default to spray?
Hi Gary, Thank you for your question. The wand on the model P188104LF-SD does not have a default stream/spray setting. The faucet will remain in whatever spray setting is chosen when the faucet is turned off and back on again. If you leave the wand in the spray setting it will remain there until changed. Thanks, Dave

How do you tighten the swivel neck?
The neck that the pull down head seats in rocks back and forth in the base. Is there any way to tighten it.
Hi Pitties4, Thank you for your question. There is no adjustment to make the spout tighter but we recommend that you verify that the spout bonnet is tightened down completely. Thanks, Dave

Can I get another matching soap dispenser with this faucet? Can I buy it separately?
Hi Susan, Thank you for your question. The soap dispenser to the model P188104LF-SSSD is available to order separately as RP49302SS. This item can be ordered online or from your local retailer or wholesaler that sells Peerless/Delta products. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp49302ss.html?showPhotoGallery=false Thanks, Dave

If the black threaded portion of the wand is damaged the entire RP71265SS will need to be replaced. Is there any plastic in the faucet assy, other than the flexible connections? Is there plastic in the soap pumper?
Hi Sopovada, Thank you for your question. The wand assembly and the soap dispenser are the non-metallic components on the model P188104LF-SSSD faucet. Thanks, Dave
