Product doesn't seem to last very long Hi, My brother purchased the Peerless two handle faucet for my sink and it has only been less than three years, and the hand sprayer has stopped working properly for a while now. When we thought we fixed the sprayer, the faucet started leaking at the bottom of the spout. We then found that one of the o-rings (largest one) broke and so we went to go buy a replacement but it didn't fix the problem. We don't know what to do anymore. What are our options for this faucet as it seems that these faucets last for at least 7 years or so? Quite dissatisfied customer, Sue March 22, 2015
Good looking faucet Good faucet except except when you move from one side of sink to other you have to keep tightening the high arc spout. the fastener keeps working loose. November 13, 2014
Great Product W/ nice look I've had this faucet since early 2007. Until this past month we had no problems what so ever. But the faucet started leaking at the base and they sent a new diverter assembly when I called. Customer service is great and they stand behind their products. The problem was getting the faucet apart to swap parts, when we tried to take it apart it snapped the copper water lines underneath. We're currently working with customer service to fix this. 7 years without a problem though. March 28, 2014
excellent design and opperation I have nothing bad to say about design and opperation. above anything I have used in the past.but the spout, gets water splashed on it in normal use, nothing new, but the thing developed PIN-HOLES in it and is couroding fast .looks like the devil. and I gues I CAN~T buy just the pipe. alltough that`s all I need. as a pretty good handyman I`m going to cut the ends off and soulder in a piece of copper. PS only year and a half old. March 10, 2014
Excellent product with good information to maintain it The faucet installed very easily. The only problem I had was I couldn't remove the check valve for the sprayer the way the instructions showed and left it in the faucet. We have used the faucet for some time and are very pleased with the finish and the performance. I like the easy way the spout swiveles and the action of the 90 degree operating handels. My wife and I are extremely pleased with its operation. This is a five star product!! October 16, 2013
Complete, turn-key package and easy to install when prep & instructions followed I went through the on-line checklist to be sure I had everything I'd need. Installation went perfectly. I wife was and remains very pleased. If it is durable we should be happy with it for years to come. My daughter picked it out, so color/finish is good. It does not feel as solid as past sets I've installed. So I'd question if it will last. September 29, 2013
great product in service just over 6 months and we love it.. we are amazed at how easy the spout swings... and it doesn't leak.. I'm looking for the prep sink/ bar sink version of this faucet for a second sink in the kitchen.. August 6, 2013
Plastic sprayer connector broke in the first 6 months We really like the faucet for its high neck and the separate sprayer. unfortunately the plastic connector under the sink where the sprayer hose connects is plastic and broke as soon as it was pulled. Trying to remove the remaining connector the two tabs, also plastic, broke. the design is not durable for everyday use and it’s not made to be removed, ever, without breaking. May 2, 2013

Is there a trick to removing the collar to access the conection kit?

Water is leaking at the spout, where it comes out of he collar. I've tried a strap wrench, to avoid scratching the stainless steel finish, but it won't budge.

    Answer:
Hi Eddie, Thank you for your question. The spout bonnet on the model P99578LF-SS-D unscrews in a counter-clockwise direction. Often mineral build up can make this difficult to do. We recommend soaking a towel in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water and wrapping the towel around the base of the spout. Allow the solution to soak in and help break up the mineral build up. This should make it easier to remove the spout bonnet.
    Thanks,

    Answer:
Hi Richard, Thank you for your question. It sounds like there may be some debris in the hot water lines. You will want to flush the faucet and verify that there is nothing blocking the hot side stem assembly. Here is a link to our how to flush your kitchen faucet video, it includes both single handle and 2 handle models.

Adjusting the flow of sprayer on P299578LF ?

I just installed the above faucet and it performs very well and looks great but I do have a question. The sprayer when trigger is fully depressed does not dispense all of the water coming out of the faucet and I would say is about 3/4ths of the faucet flow. Is this normal or am I missing an adjustment of some kind?

Hi Isswindy, Thank you for your question. It sounds like there may be some debris preventing the diverter in your model P299578LF from working properly. Step 7 on page 3 of the attached manual will show you how to remove the diverter and flush the faucet to clean out the debris.

    Answer:
Hi Bob, Thank you for your question. To remove the hose on your model P99578LF-SS you will need to press in on the textured portion on the tabs on 2 sides of the white block connector. Once you have applied pressure, push up slightly and then pull the hose down off the fittting.

    Answer:
Hi Joshgibsonpgh, Thank you for your question. The diverter assembly is usually the issue with regards to a leaking side spray. The RP41702 diverter assembly is located under the spout. To gain access to the diverter you will have to unscrew the spout base counter-clockwise. Once the base is unscrewed you can pull up on the spout to remove it from the faucet body. The top of the diverter assembly is now visible and can be unscrewed with a coin. Once removed the diverter can be replaced. I have attached a link to the manual for the model P99578LF-SS-D below that contains the parts breakdown that will help with your repair.

Is it possible to purchase only a replacement spray hose support piece? Or at least just a replacement sprayer? Our sprayer support piece broke but we are not the original owners.

    Side Sprayer with Portable Dishwasher

    Customer avatar
    by

    Kansas City, MO, USA
I just bought and installed P99578LF-SS-D. It has a "side sprayer." I also just bought a Kenmore portable dishwasher that has a quick disconnect. To run the dishwasher, I turn ON the hot water and leave it on until the dishwasher is finished. As the dishwasher cycles through, it switches the water on and off as needed inside the dishwasher.

In the instructions for the dishwasher, it says that side sprayers are not designed to be pressurized and that the side sprayer needs to be plugged off. Please advise if the side sprayer cannot be pressurized for this particular faucet. I believe the pressure in my residence is 30-40psi. If the side sprayer cannot be pressurized, do you have a plug or cap for the connection point?

I am also trying to find an adapter to go from the male threads on the faucet to the male threads on the dishwasher connection. I have a work around for now (a water filter). Thank you!

    Answer:
Thank you for your question. Peerless Faucet model # P99578LF-SS-D does have a side sprayer. However, as long as no one activates the sprayer while the dishwasher is running, you should be fine. It should not leak.

We do not have an adapter for this faucet. However the thread size is 15/16-27 so if you can find an adaptor that will work with that thread size, you can use your dishwasher on the spout.
