I am incredibly uncoordinated and klutzy, but I was determined to prove to my wife that I could install our new faucet all by myself. I was tired of being the butt of all of her jokes, and I was sure that a successful faucet installation would go far to prove my manliness. I picked out a great new Peerless faucet at the store, and when I got home, I read through the installation instructions three times.

I bought all of my supplies and had them lined up by the sink. Ready to get to work, things were moving along smoothly. Before I knew it, the faucet was installed and working beautifully! Excited by my accomplishment and ready to start gloating, I called out to my wife, letting her know it was all done.

As I made my out from under the sink, however, I smacked my head on the cabinet. My wife entered the kitchen, ready to see my handiwork, and was instead greeted by the sight of me sitting woozily on the floor, holding my aching head.

The faucet looked great, though, so it was all worth it!

Tip: Be careful when you are getting out from under the sink.
