Rated 2 out of 5 by Richard P from Faucet swivel is almost seized up. Excellent faucet except that it is steadily getting harder to swivel between the two sinks. Seems to be a common issue unfortunately, looks like everything else was designed very well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by JohnB from Seizes up The faucet will not turn to the left or right, making it pretty useless. Completely seized. Seems that this is a common issue with this particular faucet, very disappointing. Spray head has functioned ok.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Handymom from Great design, poor performance I originally purchased this faucet 5 years ago. Since then, the water pressure had severely diminished and it had seized to the point it would no longer turn from sink to sink. I had no issues with the soap dispenser. After contacting Peerless Canada's customer support, I was advised to bring the faucet back to Canadian Tire for a free replacement. Important to note, don't do this outside of Peerless customer support's Monday to Friday, 8-4, hours of operation. You will be without water in your kitchen until they reopen! CT has to call them to get an authorization number. The exchange at CT went very smoothly, they'd obviously done this numerous times before. The new faucet was easy to install, and works very well....so far. I don't have a lot of confidence that this replacement faucet will last but it does come with a lifetime warranty. It'll be interesting to see if the warranty applies to the Peerless replacement faucet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Steve from My faucet moans like a haunted house My Peerless pull-out faucet was a great concept but in reality it moans when I turn on the water and it can be heard all through the house. I called support and they sent me a replacement cartridge very quickly but as soon as I installed it we were back to the moaning again. Not sure what to do next except contact Peerless again and see what they recommend. I bought the unit years ago but only just installed it so it's a little embarrassing having to explain how my honey-do list was so far behind.

We have lost water pressure,if the problem is not I. The aerator, what else should we check or is it malfunction
We have lost water pressure compared to the old system, bid not the aerator then what should we check or is it just not workable.
Hi Kap, Thank you for your question. We recommend removing and cleaning the aerator as well as the seats and springs if the faucet exhibits low flow. You can also remove the wand and run the faucet to flush out the lines. Check the flow from the water shut off valves as well. Sometimes after not being used for a while debris can break loose and clog the shut offs. The model P18550LF has a 1.8 gpm flow rate which is less than older faucet models that had a 2.2 gpm or higher flowrate. Here is a link to the manual for your faucet model to help with the repair. http://www.peerlessfaucet.com/customer-support/find-repair-parts/documentation/p18550lf-sd.html?document=mi&documentIndex=0 Thanks, Dave

We are in a rented house - and have no idea when this was unstalled What we thought was white nylon shavings from the aerator, being caught by the filter of the aerator, severely hampering water flow. We subsequently took the aerator apart and cleaned it out, only to have it clogged again affecting water flow. We replaced the aerator with a new one and the same thing happened within days. Now we are told that it was more than likely calcium deposits and the problem may be further down in the system. One suggestion was to uncouple the Quick Connect (would this be the Adaptor #70250 ?) If so, how do I go about removing this to clean it out without breaking it and having to order a replacement part ? Any other suggestions as to where the calcium deposit may be would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your question. Peerless Faucet model P18550LF contains a wand assembly that may trap calcium deposits if you have hard water. Just cleaning out or replacing the aerator may not be enough. The whole wand may need cleaned out. We recommend soaking the wand overnight in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and cold water. This will loosen any deposits and then when you rinse them out in the morning, you should get better flow.
