Rated 4 out of 5 by billyblak from A Much Needed Upgrade! Our old faucet became clogged with rust from a water line break and after waiting ten minutes to fill up the coffee pot we decided it was time for a new faucet altogether. What drew me in initially was the simple yet elegant design. The stainless finish was a good match for our existing appliances. Got home and sure enough, just as the directions said, the removal of the old faucet was more difficult than the installation of the new. Clear directions, great tips and easy to follow step by step procedures.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Georgina from Good Faucet, but sprayer head leaks like crazy. I need a new sprayer head for my P188900LF-SSSD as it is leaking badly at the area where you press it to spray. How do I get one?

Rated 3 out of 5 by Marc42 from Faucet works fine but does not shut off quickly I have had this faucet for a few years and it has worked well. However, from day one the faucet would let water out for a short amount of time after it was turned off. This only happens when the aerator is in place. Recently the sprayer hose started leaking and customer support was very good in ordering a new hose.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cliff from Soap dispenser stopped working after a short time. I like the design and appearance but the soap dispenser will no longer pump out the soap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Skillet from Great Faucet w/bad reviews The folks complaining about this wonderful faucet have obviously hooked it up backwards. It is easy to do as the instructions do not tell you what hose to hook to which fitting and the diagrams are poor. I am a plumber and have recommend Peerless to all who do not want to shell out for a Delta. They use the same parts. The faucet construction is solid brass. The spray head swivels on the hose eliminating hose twist. The soap pump is all plastic but an email or phone call will get you a new one. A great value for the price!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Papamarty from Great design; faulty dispenser The finish of the faucet and the design are what drew me to purchase. Works fine but when you turn it off, the water still comes out for several seconds. I've gotten used to that, but the soap dispenser has had issues from the start, and now does not work at all. In reading reviews now, I see I'm not the only one having this problem. Obviously, there is a design problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jo913 from soap dispenser I bought this because of the soap dispenser, I have had it replaced, second one worked for a few weeks, but it stopped working. You have to pull out the pump, drain almost all of the soap out, put it back in, pump forever to get the pressure back so it will pump. Next time you want to use it, it doesn't work. To me it's useless. It doesn't have any water pressure from the faucet, the faucet doesn't stop when using the sprayer, like all of the other ones I have had. I would not recommend this to anyone. About the only thing I like is the way it looks. Stainless finish is nice.

Is there a way to adjust the faucet so when you turn the valve off th water immediately stops? There is a slow taperering stream of water currently, lasting about two seconds from when th alive is closed and the water stops.
Hello Billyblsk, Thank you for your question. A small amount of water may run out of the spout or drip for a very short period of time after the Peerless Kitchen 188900LF-SD faucet is shut off. Nothing is actually wrong with your faucet. Water is simply emptying from the aerator and the high arched spout of your faucet. Best regards, Tanya

WHY IS WATER LEAKING FROM BASE OF FAUCET WHEN YOU TURN THE WATER ON?
Hi Jeff, Thank you for your question. Over time the seals in the faucet can wear with use and lead to a leak. I have attached the Care Instructions portion of the model P188900LF-SD owners manual that shows what parts to replace whether the leak is at the spout or valve. http://www.peerlessfaucet.com/customer-support/find-repair-parts/documentation/p188900lf-sd.html?document=mi&documentIndex=0 If you need warranty parts assistance please call our toll free Helpline at 1-800-643-8667. Thanks, Dave

Why is me water coming out slow?
The pressure in my home is fine but the kitchen faucet is very slow. Do I need a diverter and if so does it go in the faucet base or the handle? What part do I need if not the diverter?
Try cleaning the aerator before servicing the diverter. Keep it simple. How is the flow with aerator unscrewed? You may remove the federally mandated water saver (disc w small hole in middle) from the aerator also.

Does the aerator un-screw?
Yes, the aerator unscrews. It has female thread.

Can I attach a portable dishwasher to this?
I have the attachment from my old sink, I'm just wondering if the end of the nozzle is removable so I can attach my own nozzle and therefore still use my portable dishwasher.
Hi Pagan, Thank you for your question. The aerator on your model does unscrew and should allow you to put on the dishwasher adapter. Thanks, Dave
