Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Faucet I bought this from Ace Hardware to replace my old Moen faucet. The salesperson at Ace mentioned that Peerless is easier to fix (like for washer replacement), whereas Moen is an all-in-one unit. I had a plumber install the faucet, and from what I can tell, it went in easily. It's performing well, along with the sprayer. It's proven to be a quality product for the price. The reason I went 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the aerator. There must be a water saving element as the water stream seemed to be cut back. The pressure in my building is not the best, so this feature didn't work for us. The plumber switched out the aerator to another he had and the pressure was much better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from wastes lots of water/leaks I would never buy anything from Peerless again. This faucet has leaked from the beginning in several places. It is cheaply made and inefficient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Securely Made, Goes in easily Solid product. Tried two other national brands and had to take them back to the store. Had it on in 15 minutes. Base seating is nice and thick for easy cleaning and fits inside molded metal base so it will not slip out when tightened. Unit is stable and can hold a faucet mounted water filter without bending forward or wobbling. Well made, works smoothly and has a quality finish. Thanks to Peerless for a quality product which I purchased at ACE Hardware.

How does the aerator go back together. I took it apart to clean trash out and can not figure how to reassemble

Asked by: Jader
Hello Jader, Thank you for your inquiry! Most aerator assemblies will have six pieces; this guide assumes that all six have separated: 1. Threaded, metal aerator trim. 2. Screen material. 3. Plastic ring with horizontal slots around it's circumference, 1/4" tall. 4. Plastic ring, 1/8" tall. 5. Odd plastic piece that has a short pin protruding from it. The inside looks like a gear. 6. Flat disk with a hole in the center. The flat disk fits smooth side down, in the odd piece opposite the pin, covering the gears. It should snap in place. Yours may not be disassembled to that point. Those two pieces snap into the short ring. The short ring is wider on top than the bottom. Snap the odd piece & disk into the wide side of the ring, pin side down. The other ring, with the horizontal slots is also wider on top. Take the screen material and carefully lay it into the taller ring. Make sure the screen is even and flat. Inside the tall ring, you will see three tabs. Turn the odd piece assembly pin side up. You will see three flat spots along it’s perimeter. The tabs line up with the flats. It is easiest to leave the tall ring assembly screen side down and snap the odd piece assembly, pin side down, into it. Drop the entire plastic assembly into the aerator's metal trim, screen side down. The aerator is now ready for installation. Place the black rubber gasket on top. The gasket may still be inside the spout. Carefully line up the threads and screw the aerator into the spout. If it feels tight right away, the threads are not lined up. This will ruin the spout. The aerator should turn a couple rotations before it gets tight. Best regards, Tanya

Removing handle steps

Asked by: Artie
Hello Artie, Thank you for your question. There will be a set screw underneath the red/blue button on the front of the handle. Once you remove the button a 1/8" allen wrench will loosen the set screw allowing the handle to be removed. I have attached a link for the parts breakdown of the model P188500LF below. https://media.peerlessfaucet.com/PartsDiagram/PPD-K-P188200LF.pdf Best regards, Tanya

As there are no nuts , I tried pulling down aparting the two plastic flaps , but didn't want to apply too much force , dont want to ruin it...please add explanation...thank you
Asked by: Leo
Hi Leo, Thank you for your question. To remove the hose from the faucet, squeeze the two tabs together, push up, then pull down. Please make sure that the part with the two flaps is attached as these are the tabs that you will squeeze together. Best regards, Jon

How do I take apart my single handle faucet

Asked by: Duke
Hi Duke, Thank you for your question. The 2:00 mark of the linked video starts the portion that shows how to disassemble a single handle kitchen faucet. http://www.deltafaucet.com/tools-resources/research/video-gallery/video.html?v=eWw-FdAezZY&cat= You will need to first shut off the water supply going to the faucet. Next you will need to remove the red/blue indicator button on the front of the handle to access the set screw that when loosened will allow the handle to be removed. Unscrewing the cap assembly will then allow the cam, ball assembly, seats, and springs to be removed. Thanks, Dave

How do I clean the spray nozzle on the hand held?

My hand held spray nozzle is clogged how do i clean or disassemble it
Asked by: Dan
Hi Dan, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend that you disassemble the spray head. We recommend soaking the spray head in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and cold water. This will break up the mineral build up clogging the sprayer. Make sure to rinse the spray head when finished. Thanks, Dave
