have valve R-10000UNBX installed in 2001; cartridge that came with this trim kit seems to be too long - do I need a different cartirdge?

Asked by: sara
Dear Sara, Thank you for your question. The Delta MultiChoice Universal R10000-UNBX valves were not manufactured until 2006. If your unit was installed in 2001, you would need to use your original cartridge assembly RP19804 with the PTT188763-BN trim kit. Best regards, Tanya

I want my shower hotter like sink faucets and tub but the handle will not go Amy further. Any adjustment?

Asked by: Hopperhinkle
Hi Hopperhinkle, Thank you for your question. Your model PTT188763 faucet is equipped with a rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max water temperature for the faucet. I have attached a picture below that will show you how to make the adjustment for your faucet model. Thanks, Dave
